- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl until evenly combined.
- If using immediately, rub the seasoning onto both sides of the steak. For storage, place in an airtight container for future use.
- Pat the steak dry with a paper towel before applying the seasoning.
- Apply the seasoning generously to both sides of the steak and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Press the seasoning gently into the steak to help it adhere.
- Grill the steak to your desired level of doneness.
