Description
Quick and easy grilled chicken strips marinated with fresh herbs and grilled to perfection.
Ingredients
1 pound chicken breast tenders
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons dried thyme
½ teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
1 tablespoon fresh thyme for serving
Instructions
1. 1. Pat the chicken tenders dry to remove any excess liquid and remove the tendons with a fork.
2. 2. Place the chicken in a large bowl and add the olive oil, lemon juice, thyme, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine evenly.
3. 3. Marinate for 30 minutes or up to 8 hours for best flavor.
4. 4. Preheat the grill to medium heat.
5. 5. Grill the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side, until the juices run clear and the chicken has grill marks.
6. 6. Let the chicken rest for a couple of minutes before serving to keep the juices intact.
Notes
For added flavor, try using fresh herbs like rosemary or basil in place of thyme.
Ensure your grill is preheated to avoid sticking and achieve even cooking.
You can also use chicken thighs if you prefer a richer flavor.
